Mashujaa Project is a photographic narrative that celebrates sons and daughters of our great land who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, display courage and the will for self-sacrifice (heroism) for the greater good of all humanity. These heroes (shujaa in Swahili) are distinguished by exceptional courage and fortitude.
